Leading man Robert Pattinson, who plays sultry and misunderstood young vampire Edward Cullen in the movie, wore a smart suit by Gucci in charcoal, teamed with this season’s essential skinny black tie.

Co-star Kellan Lutz, who plays Edward’s adoptive brother Emmett Cullen, cut a fine figure in a black suit and tie.  Man-of-the-moment, Taylor Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the film, scored high in the style stakes, wearing a navy blue suit accompanied by a tie in dark red.  Jackson Rathbone, who plays Jasper Cullen, did not follow the crowd with the sharp tailored look, opting instead for a red velvet suit by celebrity favourite Dolce and Gabanna, worn with a black vest top and accessories.

Label, or no label, the respected Sarah Jessica Parker is still busy though.  She is currently promoting her highly anticipated next film. 

The underwear can be figure-hugging in all the right places to provide great comfort, style and shape. The book, simply titled Mulberry, is a compilation of photos taken over the past three years by Venetia Dearden.  The 480 glossy photos that make up the content of the book consist of behind the scenes shots taken at the company’s Somerset factory, shops, shows, and after-parties.  There are also a few shots of Mulberry’s classic handbags for good measure, including shots of the classic Bayswater.  The book also contains an introduction that outlines the history of Mulberry starting with its founding in 1971 and memories of its founder, Roger Saul.

Mulberry was not the only way that the company celebrated its 40th anniversary.  Mulberry also celebrated the occasion with a celebration that took place in Palm Springs, California at a chic hotel.  It was held during the famous Coachella Music Festival, a hip music festival that takes place in the California desert.  With the likes of Nicole Ritchie, Alexa Chung, and Eliza Doolittle on hand to celebrate, it was truly a star-studded affair.  Such a turn out proves that even after 40 years, luxury never goes out of style.

The internet has made looking for bargains quick and simple, no longer do you need to search endless charity shops in the hope someone has given away a designer dress, or wait for end of season sales on the highstreet  that offer 75% off discounts on out of season clothing. The internet has a wealth of information, which means you can easily find the best deals available, such as where to get top designer labels for cheap or where to get your favourite higher end brands such as fcuk and Duck and Cover from at really great prices.

Even your everyday value highstreet shops are getting in on the action with their own takes on top designer pieces so you can still achieve they look only without the designer label but at least without the designer price tag.

Painstaking laser design turned Chanel’s signature Camellia into a swirling mass of arabesques in diamonds, pearls and white gold, while Chanel’s trip to Venice, after her lover Boy Capel’s death, was recreated in an articulated necklace of rubies, pink sapphires and emeralds.

Van Cleef & Arpel reinterpreted the Zip necklace that was originally sketched out by the Duchess of Windsor in 1938.  The modern day re-creation is a collection of necklaces, which are variously studded with diamonds, emeralds, lapis lazuli, pearls, sapphires, onyx and turquoise.

The House of Boucheron delved once more into the creature world, both real and imaginary.  Joining the signature Adam snake were ruby-eyed swan rings, dragons, Pegasus, scarabs and pandas.  A brilliant body carved from rose quartz was moulded into a jellyfish, and a 7-carat gem lies captured in the paws of a yellow sapphire lion.

Gripoix, who initially came to fame producing vrai-faux jewellery for Chanel, continues its modern day reinvention with rocker-style carbon chains, a red flower poured from glass, and an Aqua cuff bracelet inspired by the sea.  Look for their jewellery on next year’s catwalks if this year’s rumours prove to be true.

Fabergé featured the Mazurka bracelet from their high jewellery collection.  The bracelet weight is 30.58 carats and is set with 1,409 diamonds.

You can add a denim jacket to any outfit this season without worrying if it will work or not, even with denim shorts, skirt and jeans, as the double denim look is certainly in as seen on some of the catwalks. However, now that you have your Dolce Vita Flash Bootie or your Minnetonka Tramper, it is important to know the dos and don’ts of wearing ankle boots:

For everyday wear, stick to the flat ankle boots and save the show-stopping high heeled versions for night-time.  Nevertheless, regardless of heel height, watch the proportion.  Avoid the fuller skirts and instead pair them with skinny jeans, leggings, tights and short dresses and skirts you have in your wardrobe.

Another important factor is the rise proportion to a dress or skirt.  The rule of thumb is the higher the rise of the boot, the shorter the dress or skirt should be.  If the skirt or dress seems too short, throw on a pair of leggings.  Naturally, with skinny jeans, leggings and tights, any of the rise proportions work well and there is nothing to worry about.

Boots of any height are cool additions to any wardrobe, but the savvy shopper will make sure her shoe collection contains a stunning pair of ankle boots.  Ankle boots are a great way to draw the eye to a magnificent pair of legs, and they are terrific all-year round, making a chic fashion statement for anyone.
